‘Fig Tree’ - an exhibition at the Ki Smith Gallery, NYC.

Now this was cool - an exhibition which was a collaboration between the sensational musician, ‘Rozzi’ and the most excellent ‘Ki Smith Gallery in Manhattan. The artists for the exhibition were curated by Gia Coppola, Julian Lennon, Kiersey Clemons, Simon Shaw and Simon Le Bon.

Each artist was given a track from Rozzi’s new album, ‘Fig Tree’, and asked to create a work inspired by the music itself.

My track was ‘Soft’ - a painful yet tender song about a relationship that’s about to break. I took a photo of discarded personal effects found laying on the street, and printed it on fondant icing before mounting it in a commercial advertising frame, kept under lock and key.

The exhibition is now travelling to Los Angeles, I have no idea how the icing will hold up there…
